My sister (44) and myself (57) will be coming down over the holidays to see the Osborne Lights and we have never done a character breakfast. Can you tell me which one would be best for us? Ohana's sounds good but I'm open for any suggestions.
My cousin and I being around the same age as you have really enjoyed the Cape May Cafe and 1900 Park Fair. We never felt out of place at any of the Character Breakfast's but they are our top 2, another would be the Crystal Palace if you are a Pooh Fan.
DH and I went to Crystal Palace for the character breakfast last year and had a blast. We felt weird at first, but the characters still came around and we had fun interacting with them. The food was good, too, so DH is wanting to go again this year.
Before dd was born dh and I did Cape May Cafe quite frequently. Food has always been good and characters are fun and as another poster mentioned it is relaxing.
As far as the best food for character breakfasts goes IMHO I think 1900 Park Fare has really great food.
Now, if you don't want to do characters may I recommend FRESH at the Dolphin. That is definitely my new FAVORITE!! Breakfast and lunch (buffets for both) and on weekends they're one of the only (if not the only) restaurant in WDW that serves brunch (breakfast and lunch items from 11-2!!)...awesome
We, 5 adults, LOVED the Princess Storybook Breakfast. I'm only interested in "face" characters, so that limited things for us =) PLUS, my DH and my 20 yo brother were VERY excited about the Princesses, too. =) We got some great great pictures!
We had a blast!!!!!!!
PSB doesn't seem crazy wild, either, like CM sometimes feels like... it's quaint, with decent food, and everyone was under control =)
