I have a family member who has problems eating from buffets.

Is there a Character Breakfast that is NOT a buffet?

I'm most interested in Cape May Cafe.

Thank you!!

The Lilo & Stitch breakfast at the Poly isn't a buffet, they bring skillets of food to your table so it is still all you can eat but you can stay seated.

...but no characters can be found at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. It's great fun. :) You can order off a menu -- though a popular feature is a b'fast skillet, which is all you can eat eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles ... you know, the healthy stuff.

Ohana breakfast features Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto - it's served family style, and we loved it there!

Correct...Ohana is not a buffet, its an all you can eat family style meal. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!!! I esp love the pineapple bread and iliko juice. YUM!! :lovestruc

Akershus is also served family style, like 'Ohana. They have princess and the cost of the meal includes a photo package from the picture that is taken with Belle upon entering the restaurant.

Please correct me if I am wrong but I think family style is only breakfast. Lunch and dinner are a la carte. Either way, since none are buffet, this would work for you as well.

Yup that is correct. We really enjoyed our lunch on our last trip. There is a cold appitizer bar which has cheeses, meats, salads and some fresh fruit (I'm pretty sure), you choose an entree off of the menu, then dessert is served family style with 3 different desserts, which were all yummy. Lunch and dinner also include the photo package. :thumbsup2

Ohana at the Poly is a GREAT one, IMO, if you want Mickey, Pluto, Lilo & Stitch! The food is wonderful, as is the service and character interaction! :thumbsup2

Akershus in Epcot is my new favorite family-style character breakfast. It features 5 of the Disney princesses, and the food is wonderful! :goodvibes

Then there is Cinderella's Royal Table in Magic Kingdom, which is 2 TS credits on the DDP, and is also served family style. Breakfast is our favorite meal to have there, the food is good, the princesses seem extra "princessy" because of the awesome atmosphere, and the early entry into MK with an 8:05 ADR is definitely a plus. :thumbsup2

Garden Grill is also family style (all you can eat, but not a buffet)
Chip and Dale's Harvest Feast - Located in the Land Pavilion in the Future World section of Epcot this restaurant features dinner with Mickey, Chip and Dale, and Pluto, all attired "farmer-style". Kids' menu includes chicken tenders, mac and cheese. Reservations are recommended.

I was counting on those chicken tenders for DD, but she was given a grilled chicken leg instead. Just want you to be prepared. I don't remember if she had mac n cheese, but there were sweet potato fries & broccoli. DD loves broccoli & mac n cheese, but she hardly ate a bite here. We loved the ambiance & character interaction, but the food just wasn't our bag. I actually enjoyed eating DD's grilled chicken leg more than the platter of adult food!

Since OP asked about breakfast, we loved Ohana! It was our favorite meal of the week as far as food goes. Our family picture made before the meal was our best too. I enjoyed not running to the buffet & trying not to miss a character photo op.
