I am trying to decide which character breakfast to do on our last morning at DL before we leave for the beach. We will not have park tickets for that day.

Which characters have you seen recently at Goofy's Kitchen, Storyteller's Cafe or PCH Grill for breakfast? Which buffet is your favorite?

The buffet breakfast at Storyteller's is amazing! We've been there twice and loved it both times. They don't have the classic characters, but characters more like Chip 'n Dale, Meeko, Baloo, Terk, ect.

I haven't been to Goofy's Kitchen since 2001 (and I don't really remember it that well), so I don't remember how good the food was. You will see the more classic characters there, though.

Goofy's is our favorite. We go to every character meal each trip. The food is great and there are tons of characters.

We love Goofy's Kitchen. We've only done breakfast there once. It is pretty typical. If you really want a character breakfast, you'll see the typicaly Disney characters there.

There are plenty of places to enjoy breakfast though if you are really destined for the beach. Depending on which beach you are planning to visit, I suggest you look for Ruby's Diner at the end of the pier. There is one at the end of Seal Beach pier (my favorite), Huntington Beach Pier and Balboa Pier (near Newport Beach). They have an awesome Cinnamon Roll French Toast. Not a character breakfast, but something totally different and uniquely SoCal. You litteraly walk to the end of the pier to an old style diner with incredible views of the surrounding ocean. In Seal Beach you can occasionally feel the bump of a boat docking up that is shuttling people from one of the many offshore oil platforms.

We did Mickey's our last morning. We saw Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Pluto and Stitch. My kids loved dancing with the characters. We decided on this one because it was the only one that you would for sure see Mickey.

We've done Goofy's numerous times, and really like it. We prefer it to Storyteller's for the characters. We haven't tried Mickey's, but I hope to next trip in a few weeks.

We did Goofys kitchen last week. We loved it! They were able to make me a special gluten free plate and everyone else I was with loved their food from the buffet. We saw Aurora, Cinderella, Rafiki, Baloo, Chip, Dale and Pluto. They each spent plenty of time at our table and we were able to get some really great pictures.

Same here, and it was wonderful! We liked it much more then Goofy's Kitchen. We had a 7 am reservation for a 10:30 am flight, and it was perfect. Plenty of interaction. Minnie mouse just hung out at our table. (at one point, DH and DS were in the buffet line, and I had to carry on a conversation with Minnie). Daisy came by and encouraged DS to eat his food. DS went up and danced with Mickey too. Very intimate.
