Hi everyone, I'm new to the board. We plan on being at Disney February 16th - 18th.

How is the Surf's Up Character breakfast? My son is 9, and I am a little concerned he might be a bit too old for it, but this particular breakfast seems to have the most characters he would be familiar with.

For buffets, will they let you in if you don't actually buy breakfast? I don't typically eat breakfast, so I would probably just hang out while the son and husband ate.

Is there a monorail stop at Paradise Pier?

Sorry for all the questions, I have actually been to Disneyland 44 times in my life, but this is only the second with my son. We took him when he was 4 and he was just NOT into it. I must have really been horrible in a past life to get a child who is not into Disney. Anyway, he appears to be into the idea of going now, so I want to try to make it as fun as possible for him, but wonder if he is already too old for some of it.

No

No

I don't think your son is too old. Stitch is a classic, I think he would enjoy it as much any of the character breakfasts.

An option with you not eating breakfast, you could try Storytellers Cafe at GCH, they have menu as well as buffet, so you could just order something small off the menu and not be paying for a big breakfast.
