So i booked minnie and friends breakfast and ariels grotto for lunch.. Anyone have any reviews or pics to share from either one?

i had last seating at minnie.. loved it... saw chip & dale, hook, minnie, fgm, rafiki, goofy, tigger and eeyore (i think that was it).. towards the end, there was like 4 or 5 of them in the same room and they ended up just messing around the whole time

check out the air time tigger was getting. i asked him to bounce for me and he responded with something along the lines of 'have you seen there's a ceiling in here? are you insane?' but i coaxed him into it thinking he'd do a little hop. he proved me wrong

minnie, hook and dale all gave me mini-modeling sessions (not sure what dale is doing in that pic up there). hook was awesome. he'd even come out before rope drop to taunt everyone waiting

can't wait to do it again

Just finished BOTH meals last week actually - a few times. Had a great time at Minnie's - we saw Minnie, Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Hook, Chip, Dale, Bert, and the Penguin (is his name Perry?) Tigger actually started playing peekaboo with my daughter (3 yrs) as we were in line - we had NO idea! She kept yelling "I just saw Tigger!" Then we finally saw him peek around a corner. He proceded to follow us in to the restaurant and tackled my daughter and played with her for quite a while! Really cute!!! Food was good - always love their fruit and finally a restaurant has added rice crispies (thank you so much Disney!!! Ariels breakfast also has them now.)

Ariel's lunch - just remember that you may not see your favorite princess. Usually you get 4 plus a pic and meet with Ariel at the front, but one meal we only had 3 this past week. Some are better than others, we had a couple Cinderellas who were friendly but rushed through their job as fast as possible, and one who was fantastic and overly attentive! Each experience totally differs. I love their fish & chips, fruit parfait, and the chicken noodle soup - also things to share with my daughter if she doesn't like hers. My daughter had an octodog but didn't want to eat the mac & cheese - staff was wonderful on every occassion - they got her another octodog! I was surprised and really enjoyed the breakfast - my husband said it was his favorite character meal!

We did Ariel's Grotto on our last trip. We were suppose to do Minnie's but my daughter was just too pooped out and we let her sleep in. Next time for that one.

Ariels was great. Georgia had a blast, however, it was really very loud in there. I figured itwould be, but not to the volume it was. At one point Georiga asked for her ear plugs. She has high fuctioning autism, so the noise was a big issue. But this lunch was a must for us because she is so scared of the characters, the "people" ones are the only ones she ewill see willingly.

We had Mary poppins, Fairy Godmother, Cinderella, and Snow White. Then we met Ariel when we first walked it. We were told Belle was suppose to be there, which was the one princess she wanted to see the most. And we missed her. She was so upset. They also said that Princess Minnie was suppose to be there too, but nope. THey must have just switched. THey said they are usually never the same each time.

Ariel's little visit is short.

Mary was great! She talked to Georgia for about five minutes. Chatting about the library and what lovely hair Georgia. How much she looked like Cinderella. It was so cute.

Cinderella was great too. She was so sweet and charming. Talked to Georgia and told her how pretty she is. Just making Georgia's day. Totally making up for the missing Belle and Minnie.

Fairy Godmother is just as sweet. again telling Georgia how much she looked like Cinderella. Which made Georgia for the rest of the day, tell EVERY CM she met that she looked just like Cindy! It was classic.

Snow White was very quick. She came signed the book took the picture and left to go to the next table. It was ok, though. She was the first one out, so it was great to have the others spend a bit more time.

We would do it again, but probably a breakfast though.

We went to Minnie and Friends for breakfast with our then-11 month old, and we had the best time! DS LOVED meeting the characters, and as soon as they turned the corner into our section he would start bouncing up and down and squealing in delight! We saw Minnie, Pooh, Eeyore, Chip, Dale, Captain Hook and the fairy godmother. They were so happy to play with the baby, we had the cutest interactions with them! The food was delicious as well. Have fun!

We loved Lilo and Stitch! I think this was our favorite. We booked or 7:30am, and there wasnt too many families in there. It wasn't loud. The Characters were great. However, Georgia was freaked out by them all except Lilo her favorite. She did warm up to take a picture with Minnie.

Georgia couldn't wait for Lilo to actually make it to our table so she went and found her. Which was great. Lilo followed her around for a few minutes. Giggles were flying. THen they played patty cake. They kept missing hands it was a crack up.

Stitch was great. Georgia wasnt really ready for him yet. But he took a picture with Daddy, and kept messing up his hair taking his hat off.

Then he blew Georgia a kiss when he was leaving our table.

After three tries of going to get Minnies pictures taken, and meeting her we finally did it. But only with mommy.
Disneyland2007117.jpg

Then she gave her a big hug and since I was holding her I couldnt get the picture!!
Pluto was funny funny funny. He was messing with DH.
Disneyland2007124.jpg

Then Georgia was hiding behind me she was so scared, and SHAKING! He started to cry, and beg her to peek at him. then got on his knees.

Georgia had her own camera, I am so bummed because it is film, and when we got it developed they messed up the film!!!! She was taking pictures of EVERYTHING. It was great therapy for her. But all her great pictures are lost. Next time she will have her own Digital.
She was trying to take a picture of Daisy, when Pluto walked in front of her, this was Daisy making a "no no" motion towards Pluto.

finally the coast was clear.

Goofy was there too, but we didnt dare have him come near.

But for us it was by far the best. I would love to do it again!
