We are going the week of Xmas and will be in the parks most of the time. I wanted to do 1-2 character breakfasts at MK while we were there, since it looks like the whole week is EMH (morning). DH doesn't think we should, since it's such a busy time at MK and he doesn't want to waste precious park time at a TS. Since we have been to MK about 20 times in the last 10 years, we have never been to a character breakfast. Are the character breakfasts really great interaction and good food (namely CP)? I know for dinner we love it. Or, should we grab something quick and keep moving? Thanks for any help!

We don't usually like to do a big breakfast because we feel miserable afterwards...but we did do it once and it was at CP. It was wonderful and definately worth it. I know it sounds like a "waste of time" but you are IN the park and you are WITH characters. Go for it!!!!
Have a great trip!

I agree you might be better off doing character meals at dinner so you dont miss park time if its a busy time of yr..

**if**you could get an ADR before park opening then you could possibly finish breakfast before opening....hence in the park for opening. good luck!

We enjoyed having a late character breakfast last Dec. at Ohana. We had a light breakfast in our room, headed to the park EARLY and then took a break late morning and had a great meal and some rest time. Fabulous food and all the characters. :thumbsup2 We booked the lastest breakfast reservation they allowed and it worked out great.

I was thinking the same thing. We are going with our 2 nieces (3 and 10) and I was planning on character dinners each day to wind down. DH reminded me that the girls are very picky eaters and would be tired after being in the parks all day so we would be better off getting into the parks for the first seating at breakfast (cant go wrong with bacon, eggs and mickey waffles!) and get started early. We have 8:05 am ressies every day.....

Character meals are a lot of fun! It's nice to have the characters come to you, and the whole atmosphere of the place is fun, even when it's not your turn with the characters.

For our next trip, we've scheduled one on the morning we leave. I think it's a great way to squeeze in a last bit of fun, since otherwise we'd just get up and go to the airport.
