We have made reservations for the character breakfast at Hollywood and Vine. Has anyone been there recently for breakfast? I'm wondering how the food is and character interaction. We have 2 boys 1 and 5. Will this be fun for my older son? He does enjoy Little Einsteins. Any feedback appreciated!!

My DS is 5 and DD is 8. Both still enjoy watching playhouse Disney. We saw JoJo, Goliath, June and Leo.

The food is good.. typical breakfast stuff. We went for a late breakfast and it was not busy, so all characters stopped 2x. (Goliath can't sign autographs, but JoJo does it for both.)

They stop every 10-15min and do some dances and a parade. My son has never enjoyed that kind of stuff, but my DD still does. I would say it is more geared for the toddler/preschool crowd, but even if he doesn't get up and participate the food is good and the environment was fun.

We enjoyed it, but it wouldn't be on our "must do" a 2nd time.

i wish i had a small child (or a cousin or something) to take there- i absolutely love this place, i've never ate there (but tend to spend a lot of time there- aka the job that i can't get into details about), but it's so amazing! the playhouse pals are great at singing and interacting with the kids and the characters love to dance with the kids during the dance breaks (they do the several songs from jojo, a two from mickey's playhouse, the bear cha cha). it's great and the cast members there seem to always be in a great mood- if you do a really early or really late breakfast ressie i can almost guarentee that the characters will get around to your table 2x's

We give it a yey vote too!!! Food was good, character interaction was great. Our boys really enjoyed the breakfast.

We did this on our last trip and DS4 was star struck. He sleeps with Leo so he was so excited to meet him, he was kind of shaking (in a cute way), June and Jojo and Goliath were there too and he loves them as well.

He would not get up and dance for some reason but loved it anyway.

Food was decent buffet breakfast food.

Have fun!
