I have seen a couple of threads mention that the earliest ADR is not necessarily a good idea at some character breakfast because you are then waiting in line to be greeted. Whereas, if you are at a slightly later time - it is a more relaxed greeting. I am specifically referring to CRT and 1900 PF.

Does this ring true for you?

Any others? We are also set for Tusker House, Hollywood and Vine and Akershus Princess Breakfasts.

Thanks!
Stacey

I don't know what "waiting in line to be greeted" means. The characters' rotation around the room is the same whether you have an early reservation or later or whenever.

Subing I have four early ADR @ Character Breakfasts CM, 1900 PF, Tuskers, and CP, never thought about having to stand in line for the characters :confused3

I wouldn't say the line for any of the greatings before being seated (assuming you mean the photos taken after you check in and before they bring you to your table) is any lighter or heavier early in a seating than later in a seating.

With the 2 ADR's you specifically mentioned, CRT I would make for as early as you can, because walking down MSUSA before the park opens is an awesome experience. The picture they take before 1900 PF breakfast is not great, it's just in front of a backdrop, so even if there is a wait you can always ask to skip the picture (in other words you aren't greated by any characters).

TH and Akershus I would also make for as early as possible, just for the chance to walk through the parks early in the morning without the public around is worth any line you may have. :thumbsup2

Explanation:
By Greeting line (and waiting) I have heard you wait to be greeted by Cinderella at CRT, by Mary Poppins at 1900 PF and Belle at Akershus before entering the restaurant.

Mary Poppins doesn't greet you, she comes to the tables. I don't know about H&V but the only restaurants you listed that have characters that greet you before you enter are CRT (Cinderella), Akershus (Belle) and TH (Donald). The photo package is included at CRT and Akershus and costs extra at the other restaurants. You can have the PhotoPass photographers take a picture with your own camera if you want.
