Reading these boards, I get the impression that not all character breakfasts are created equal as far as the food goes. For example, Tusker House, Cape May, and Crystal Palace all generally get better reviews than Chef Mickeys.
Does this difference extend even to basic items at the buffet (e.g., bagels, pastries, fruit, yogurt, cereal, Mickey waffles, etc.) that take little or no skill for the restaurant staff to prepare?
For example, if I grab a Danish at Chef Mickeys, is it less likely to be as good or fresh as a Danish I grab at say, Cape May or Tusker House?
Or is the difference more in food items that take relatively more effort and skill for the restaurant staff to prepare and keep fresh (e.g., eggs, breakfast potatoes, etc.)?
And does the difference have more to do with quality or variety (or is it some combination of the two)?
