Character breakfast entry

I was planning on doing the latest morning character breakfast (Crystal Palace) based on recommendations that it is less full, and more attention is given by the characters.
However, I was wondering if attending the first seating does not afford you a way into the park before everyone else arrives, thereby giving you a great way to see the castle and main street without all the crowds (better photo opps!)--almost like having the place to yourself for a glorious brief moment? What do you all think? (I hesitated posting on this forum, but I decided this relates more to strategy than dining.)

We did that with Cindy's and it was great. No one was on mainstreet. Awesome photo op's. You will never get an empty mainstreet shot with the castle behind you at any other time. Unless you are the first through the turnstiles when they open. But still people are rushing in.
