Character Breakfast Disneyland resort

Hi

I would like to know which character breakfast would be good for 2 boys aged 9 & 12.

Also with the halloween parties, is better to go to all the trick or treat stations instead of the rides. as we have a 14 day disney park hopper pass. so we will get to all the rides during that time. i just want my kids to semi experience an american halloween in a semi safe enviroment.

I would say Minnie's, Goofy's or Surf's Up!

Minnie's is the only one in Disneyland Park, it has between 8-12 characters. Excellent character interaction. Food is okay. Nothing spectacular.

Goofy's is at Disneyland Hotel. Around 5-7 characters. Lots of food choices. Only Character meal also offered at dinner.

Surf's Up is at Paradise Pier Hotel. More classic characters. Haven't tried it yet but have heard there is some unique food choices. Not as many foods as Goofy's but cheaper than Goofy's as well.

Our favorite character meal is Minnie's as it is in the park. We have not had good experiences at Goofy's.

Since we have APs, when doing the Halloween party we rarely go on rides. We hit the trick or treat stations and the character meet n greets instead, things that are not available during the regular park hours (many of the characters are in costume or are rarely seen).

Probably is. If you are going for 14 days you will be able to do plenty of rides. I would use the party to focus on the party items. The Parade, Fireworks, Charater Meet and Greets and the Trick or Treating.

Almost everything. Some people view it only as Space's Ghost Galaxy and the Holiday Haunted Mansion would be open because they are pointed out in marketing. So even though almost everything is open, those two attraction get extra attention and long lines.

But as I tried to post before, enjoy the party aspects of the nights, not the rides you can do during the day, all week, or in the summer if you have other time in the park.

This is our first time at the Halloween party (going with DS DDIL and 3 grands). What is there to do excpet walk the trails and get candy and get character pictures? I know they have special fireworks..I think the party starts at 7 and goes until...normal Friday night park closing? I will need to read up on this as everyone always just stares at me on Disney trips wanting me to know everything and direct them
