Character breakfast buttons???

I read somewhere and I can't remember that you are given character breakfast buttons when you go to a character breakfast?? What is this and what kind of button is it???

Here are the two we got last week. They are about 3 inches across. We did not get them for Ariel's Grotto although I believe they are offered (this is the second year in a row we were not offered buttons or crowns. I'm sure we would've been given them had we asked)

Those are cute! Do you have to ask for them or are they given to you?

They are usually given to you, if not just ask and they will give you some. They make a nice little keepsake and you can even put them in a scrapbook. Also, you will see lots of people around the parks wearing them.

Just as a small warning - I have been to three character breakfasts where they were out of buttons - so they are not a guarantee.

I have had that happen too. Once when it did happen they had just recently run out so I told our server and she kept an eye out for buttons that other people left on their tables after they left the restaurant. Many people don't want them so they just leave them behind.

Another time however they just didn't have any that day but that has only happened to me once so the odds are probably pretty good!

We have now done all the character meals and Stitch was by far our favorite. The food was good and the interaction fantastic. Enjoy!!

We ran into Stitch at Califonia Adventure sometime after our breakfast. He tried walking off with our daughter (she's in a wheelchair) It was all in fun and cracked us up. He was a definite family favorite with us.

Thanks for the pictures the buttons are so cute. I never heard of these buttons before does WDW do them??? We also love the Lilo & STitch breakfast at WDW. Stitch cracks up my boys. I have us scheduled for the Stitch breakfast 2x on our 9 day trip.

I've been to many character breakfasts in WDW and none of them have given out buttons.
