Character Breakfast buses

Are the Character Breakfast buses still running? I read on another site that they are not. We are staying at OKW and have a 9:00 PS at Donald's. Chip 'n Dale Express, are you out there?

Buses are no longer marked Character Breakfast. Instead they now list the park they are going to. You would want an AK bus. Buses start running one hour prior to park opening so they will start heading for your resort at 7 am for an 8 am park opening or 8 am for a 9 am park opening. Actual arrival time of the first bus at your resort will be 15-20 minutes after dispatch and park arrival will be 15 minutes or so after resort departure.

Oh that stinks. We have an 8:15 PS at Chef Mickeys on a nonEE day for MK. I guess we will have to take the car. Yuk!

Limited service is available starting at 7:00am. There will be a bus marked MAGIC KINGDOM that will run every 15 minutes. You'll be fine.

Thanks, Chip'n Dale! Since the park opens at 9 and our ressies are also at 9 I wanted to get there early enough, since it's quite a hike to the restaurant. By the way, I love your name!!! My husband has an ongoing battle with chipmunks. They dig under the patio an pull out tons of stones! We've trapped at least 13 in the last two weeks! Don't worry, it's a Hav-a -Heart trap, and we take them to a nice park! Anyway, at our Disney vow renewal next year I am tempted to have Chip and Dale at the reception!

Thanks so much! If we drive to Contemporary in the morning we will have our car all day(were going to MGM after breakfast). The last thing I want to do is get in a hot car after a day in the parks.

Tyler, are they doing this 7 am run for all the parks on non-EMH days or is this just for the MK?

The pre-8:00 runs are for those areas in which there are Character Breakfasts that one would need to get to.

I am going in Oct. Will I be able to get to MK for my Character Breakfast before the park opens using Dis transportation? I am staying at the Poly. The CM who I made the PS with ask if I would have a car to use down there. When I said no he told me to call guest relations the day before because I might need to take a cab if no Disney transportation was running. I asked if the Monorail would be running and he said he couldn't be sure.

*sigh* The people you spoke with make my job so trying at times. I wish someone would furnish them with proper information so that we wouldn't worry guests.

Never fear, you'll be all set. The Resort Monorail starts service around 7:00am. If you were to drive... basically, you'd take the long way out of the Poly and across the street to the TTC parking lot, where you'd walk into the TTC and take the same monorail to the MK. If you took a cab, he'd take you 5 ft to the TTC Taxi lot. LOL...
