Would love to know which is the best restaurant and in which park is the best for a character breakfast........ :grouphug:

Donald's Breakfastosaurus without a doubt,

hi there i know it was a few years ago now but during our trip in summer of 2000 we did several character breakfasts... donalds in the animal kingdom , cinderealla in the castle and also did a couple of character meals as well ,

donalds was incredible, the food was excellent all you could eat buffet in a setting of a dinosaur camp dig hut ....lots to pick from and very relaxed settings .....

the character interaction was brill each table had at least two three minutes individual attention from each of the characters think there was three or four ...donald was there and so was pluto or it may have been goofy ..will need to dig out the photos ....but in all honesty the experience really stuck in my mind and though my daughter was only 4 at the time and is now 9 she remembers it all ......and as we are booked for a trip back in july 2006 we will def be having at least 1 breakfast there ...364 days and counting ....

cindereallas was a lovely experince and we were grateful to an american friend who now is a mod on the dis boards for booking and sharing the occasion with us , very hard to book it from over here since everyone wants breakfast /dinner in the castle.....but while the setting was lovely magical in fact the food wasnt and everything was very rushed and not worth the money ...spoken like a true scot .....

go for donalds you wont regret it

cheers

harry

It's all about opinions I guess and what you personally are looking for. I did four on my recent trip and I'll rate them as to my preference:

1. Cindy's - purely and simply for total atmosphere - we were treated like royalty and the food was fab!!

2. Chef Mickey's - huge buffet, great to eat at the Contemporary and good character interaction.

3. Donald's - was fab and the choice was huge but not as good as Chef Mickey and I felt there was less interaction from the characters.

4. Princess Storybook - had I done this first I'd probably have loved it but since I did it after Cindy's it came across as disappointing in comparison - particularly the food.

Depends what you are looking for of course!!

Hope you get something

Nick

Definately Chef Mickeys - theres tons of food, loads of interaction with Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Pluto and goofy and it has a great atmosphere.

It all depends on who you like.
for us, its the Crystal Palace for Pooh and his friends.

Chef Mickeys is a favourite but Crystal Palace is cool too ;-)

Hi there,

We always do a few breakfasts every trip, pound for pound I think Chef Mickeys is best and I have done them all including CRT 4 times.

Book it you will not regret pirate: ::MinnieMo ::MinnieMo it.

were with harry.donalds breakfastsaurus for us.the food was great and if you take the first sitting you get about 1/2hr headstart in the park so u can do either kali rapids first or safari.

we prefer ak to any other park so we are probably a little biasist

'Ohanas at the Polynesian Resort is good fun. It's served "family style" so there is no buffet, but they just keep on bringing the food to your table until you are full. There are mickey waffles and all the usual character breakfast fare. We have had Hawaiin Mickey, Goofy, Chip and Dale amongst others when we have visited. The service is great and you can get a wonderful view over Seven Seas Lagoon as well. A perfect way to start an MK day :sunny:

We love Chef Mickeys and 1900 park fare - both offer great food and character interaction!!! :teeth:

I prefered 1900 Park Fare as it didn't seem so hectic but Chef Mickey's was also good. I always make sure we have a buffet style breakfast as it suits my fussy eaters better.
I'm sure you can't go wrong - it's Disney after all!

You might want to think about the following though

1. Do you want to go to a park or hotel restaurant? (Both 1900 and Chef Mickey's are just a monorail ride from MK)
2. Which characters do you want to see? Different locations have different characters so if thats important find out before you book.
3. Do you prefer a buffet where you choose what you want (a lot of getting up and down if you have little ones) or would you like to be served at your table?

Choose which characters that you wish to see and then pick the restaurant. In most case, you aren't going for the food anyway. :)
We always enjoyed the Crystal Palace, in fact my wife and I still make a stop once in a while. The food is very good and the character interaction is excellent. :)
