Character Breakfast at GF?

Hi I was wondering if anyone knows if you can take the Monorail directly from the Poly to the Grand Floridian. We have a split stay in April. We are doing 4 days Poly and 3 YC. We want to do the Character Breakfast at the GF and I would like to know on which half of the our stay I should book it. From what I have read it seems like Poly and Gf are both Monorail resorts and I should book it when we are at the Poly but I want to be sure. Also about how long do you think it would take to get there? I was thinking an 8:00 ps but if it doesn't take too long to get over there. Also how is the Breakfast? We have to boys ages 5 and 8. One who really loves Pinocchio. Will he be there?Thanks for any info you can give

Yes, I believe the GF is the next stop after the Poly. Doesnt take long at all to get there.

We did the breakfast at 1900 Park Fare in Oct, and the characters that were there were:
Alice in Wonderland
Mad Hatter
Eyeore
Whinne the Pooh
Mary Poppins (in the lobby area)

I read on all ears that geppetto and pinocchio are there too but maybe thats changed. It still might be fun to see the mad hatter though.

I would definitely do Park Fare while you're at the Poly. You can even walk over if you're not in a big rush...it's not that far & is a very nice walk (you go right by the wedding pavillion which is very pretty to see and the monorail goes by so the kids can see it a few times if they like that).

The GF is the next monorail stop after the Poly and takes only a few minutes. If you leave the Poly 15-20 mins before your PS you'll have plenty of time.

The cast of characters usually consists of Mary Poppins and any combination of the following: Bert, Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger or Mad Hatter. We LOVE this character breakfast, it is THE BEST! THE best food, service, and character interaction of all of the breakfasts on property! DEFINITELY do not miss it!
