Character Breakfast at DTD Wyndham

Anyone ever do the character breakfast at the Lakeview restaurant at Wyndham Lake Buena Vista? We are checking in there tomorrow morning and were hoping on doing the character breakfast on Saturday morning. I was told they don't take reservations for it, so I'm just trying to figure out how early we need to get down there. i have a 3 1/2 year old that's not really easy to get moving in the morning.

yeah, actually, it kinda is. Wyndham is an official WDW hotel, and I'm asking about a restaurant within it. No different than asking about O'Hana, etc

It's not an official WDW hotel, just on property.

We have never tried this breakfast but I researched it because we were planning a short surprise trip for our kids that we had to cancel and we had reservations for the DTD Doubletree Suites which is also on Hotel Plaza Blvd. I was told that they don't take reservations for this meal and walk ups have never been a problem because the restaurant has a large seating capacity and it isn't a well known or very popular character meal since it isn't at one of the WDW resorts. I was told the earliest we could get there was 7:30am and the breakfast is over at 10:30am. It is buffet style and the prices are reasonable, but they only have the Goofy and Pluto characters. Hope this info helps. Have a magical trip!
