Two years ago, we had a wonderful character breakfast with Pooh and his friends at Artist Point. We were looking forward to doing this again in February 2003. However, I just read on wdwig.com that AP is closed for breakfast. Tell me it isn't true! We were planning to go there on our "day off" from the parks. My 4 year old loves Pooh. What other restaurants have Pooh bear character meals besides Crystal Palace?

Apparently they closed just a few months after you went. I believe that in July 2001 when I started planning last year's trip it was already closed for breakfast.

Yes it is sad but true. We went there and I think it was my favorite character meal. I too was very sad to see it go

This is what I found on www.wdwig.com

1900 Park Fare - Grand Floridian - Breakfast
has a variety of characters that seem to change quite a bit lately. Currently there is Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter, Pooh and Eeyore. Breakfast items include omelet bar, pancakes, fruit, breads, meats, etc. Cost is $16.99-A and $9.99-C.

Too bad. One of the things we enjoyed about eating there was that it wasn't very crowded. Guess that was it's downfall - not profitable enough!

I believe Crystal Palace in Mk will be opening up in December so for your feb trip you could go there for breakfast with Pooh and Friends!!
