I was wondering if you thought we could do an 8:30am character breakfast at IOA and make it on time to a 10am US VIP tour??
Or is this cutting it too close and too stressful? I prefer an early start to a day, but perhaps the 12noon tour is better? Any suggestions?

It depends on how fast you want to move. If you want to do the 10am tour, you'd have to be done with the breakfast by about 930. If you want to relax and enjoy the breakfast, then I'd shoot for the noon tour.

I wouldn't unless you want to rush as DM stated.

They would be two highlights for two separate days if it were me.

I think yall are right. Two separate days is probably better.

I find it odd that Universal tells people "you don't need a reservation for the character breakfast" - is the character breakfast any good (enough characters? food?) worth the time?

Well, gee-I go off to do birthday type stuff and...

Puffy, you can do both, just need to make sure that you are there before 9:45 at the latest.

Thanks for the page Kelly...
