We are going to WDW in late summer and would like to take our 1-year-old to a character breakfast. It seems, from what I've read in the Unofficial Guide, like either Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace might be our best choice because of the lower character-diner ratio. Does Crystal Palace have the same sort of character interaction (singing, parading around room, etc.) that Chef Mickey's does? Does one of these restaurants have better food? Which of these two would you all recommend, or am I missing the boat entirely and is there a better character breakfast out there? Many thanks in advance.
Chef Mickey's seems a little more chaotic to me.

I would say it just depends on which characters your child would prefer. We are going back to both places for the character dinners on our next trip and trying 'Ohanas character breakfast this time. Enjoy whichever you choose.
