Is it better/cheaper to pre-buy a character dining voucher, or should I just wait and pay when dining?

What experience do you DISers have with these?

It is the same price whether you pay in advance or when you get there. I prepaid for DH and I but when we got there I had to pay for the other three. Kinda gave us something to do while we waited to get our picture taken.

I do suggest making reservations if you have not already.

There are some other threads on this subject if you do a search. It is my understanding that if your doing the premium dining it is beneficial to pre-buy and save a few bucks (if you buy from getawaytoday or lastminutetravel etc.) I am considering doing this for our trip in June.

The main difference when buying a voucher is that they generally include tax + tip in the total price. The price listed for paying at the venue does not include these.
