Character Autograph Question

So sorry if this question seems stupid, however it has been a really long time since I have stood in line for characters to sign autographs at DL. Most of our trips in the last 10 years have all been to WDW, and we did not get autographs.

My husband said that from what he observed, the characters no longer will sign clothing (not being worn, just if you bring a T shirt) anymore. That they only sign autograph books.

We are planning a trip to DL in Nov and will have a first time EVER Disney visitor with us, I would love for her to get an autographed shirt, do they still allow this?

Thank you! :goodvibes

Mickey signed my sons "mickey" baseball hat at his house in Toon Town in May. Not sure about tshirts but I think if they weren't allowing that he wouldn't have signed a ball cap.

We've had t-shirts signed recently. They won't sign anything people are wearing though.

Yup. Anna and Elsa both signed t-shirts for the little girls in front of us today. Didn't seem put out at all.

Also, the characters dont sign casts either as it is a worn item. Just fyi :)
