character autograph books

My daughter has never been to disney. I have read that lots of kids get the characters to sign the autograph books. I have seen them on ebay for about 6.95 plus shipping. Is this a good price or should I just wait and buy one in the magic kingdom? Due the disney stores in the malls sell them? Thanks, Janet

I got one my last trip in October for my grandaughter who has never been. We are going again the last week in April and taking her with us.

I have taken her book and placed different character stickers on different pages, so when we go and she see Mickey she can flip to the Mickey page and have Mickey sign that page with his sticker on it. Her being only 3 she can't read, but she will know it is his signature when she goes back and looks at the book after we get home and know it is his signature because it has his sticker on it.

If you know someone going if they could pick you up a book and bring it back you could try that idea. I brought one back for a friend that went this past January.
