Hey I'm just looking for some personal experiences/stories about being a CA.
I'm applying for Summer ICP 2011 and from the description would really like to be a CA but would like more info... What things were required of you? What attributes to Cast Members in this position need to have? I just really wanna know how to make myself shine so I can get this position as well if I feel I am actually a good person for this position.
Thanks for any/all help.

Character Attendant is a AWESOME job, It didn't even feel like a job half the time I done it.

You can work at any of the parks or resorts and tend to spend long hours outside. Many times you are unsupervised and are responsible to making sure characters get on and off set on time.

You will take lots of pictures and interact and become the voice of non face characters and help relay animated things to guests.

You will also be the meanie who has to turn people away when you have to cut the line. Honestly I loved the job and would highly suggest it.

I've been a CA for over 3 years now. It's a great role, and I love it. I always have a blast interacting with the characters/guests. And there are some great locations to work at. Even though you are bid in one park, it is quite easy to pick up shifts in the other parks (and sometimes resorts for dining as well).

The CA assists their character(s), keeping the queue line orderly, answering questions, helping out with taking pictures (especially if there is no Photopass), and so on
