Character at an Intimate Wedding???

Ok, I know it sounds crazy...but can you have a character at an Intimate wedding? We'd love to have Goofy...and would if we were having a custom wedding. But when I was looking at the Disney site under intimate weddings, they listed some characters!!! Anyone know about this??

I am pretty positive that you can have the Disney characters, regardless of whether you have a custom or an intimate wedding. All you have to do is shell out the $$$$.

That's right Intimates can invite our Disney friends too. I'm going with Donald & Chip n Dale. Donald in his cute sailor suit and not sure about Chip N Dale maybe the Rescue Rangers outfits (they have so many!)

Apparently they can only come to the reception after the toast to avoid any pictures with characters and alcohol. They help with the cake cutting although with my choosen trio, help may not be the right word!!!

I've been quoted $1460 for the 3 of them for 30 mins.

Can't wait.

You can definitely have characters for an intimate and if you've got the cash I would suggest you do it!

My DF and I wanted Mickey and Minnie and were quoted $1200. However, we really want to buy into DVC so we just decided to keep the $1200 and buy in while we are on our honeymoon. I still kinda wish we could do it though

We had Mickey & Minnie at our wedding this past December.
They were great! $1,065 for them.
Now I've heard you can have Stitch too.

How awesome!!!! I know we'd all love to have goofy!!! He is all of our favorite Character!! Does it feel awkward having a character with just a few people? (we'll be at Sunset Pointe and only have 10-12 people). That would make some GREAT pictures!!!!!

I don't think it would be odd at all. From the different video samples that STVS sent me, there have been plenty of intimates that have done this. There was even a bride on this board that had just her, her DH, and about 5 characters. Their pictures were too cute!

wow sounds like fun! Im having a custom with about 20 guests and im planning on having Mickey and Minnie. Although my fiance loves Donald so if i can afford it as a suprise i would love to book him also!
