Charachter Call

What happens when you get a charachter call? Can you tell them what to say?

We are suprising DD for her birthday with a cruise and I'm trying to decide if I have Mickey call her and then give her a box with stuff for the cruise or if I have Mickey call the day before, after she has known for a few days. TIA

I would speak to guest services who will let Mickey know, Mickey knows a lot, hopefully you have out on your reservation that it's a celebration.

IF you mean the Character Calls that can be scheduled pre-cruise...it's a canned recording. You select the character, but there is very little (if any) personalization other than noting your destination and departure day. That said, DD was totally over the moon about it! She still mentions it now, 2 years later.

I'm not sure if you are asking about the cruise line character calls (which were free) or the paid character calls for birthdays. We had the cruise line character calls when we went to Alaska last year. The character calls are a canned script by either Mickey or Goofy saying something like we are looking forward to seeing you, Gwarsh it's going to be fun to have you sail to Alaska with me. You can request a specific date and time for them to call (they are VERY punctual!).
