what is the relation betwen the dinner rotation and the day when you have character breakfast?

APLAPLA rotation - character breakfast on Sunday
PLAPLAP rotation - character breakfast on Thursday
LAPLAPL rotation - character breakfast on Monday

OK this is what I got from this board:

Character breakfasts are on sea days. Early seating dinner has early seating breakfast 8:15am and late seating has late at 9:45am. Character breakfast is on the morning of the day at sea after you eat in Animator's Palate. So -
If you have APL - character breakfast is Sunday morning
If you have LAP - character breakfast is Monday morning
If you have PLA - character breakfast is Thursday morning

I believe this is correct

Do you automatically get a character breakfast one morning of the cruise? Or do you have to make reservations for it?

provided you are on the 7 day cruise it is automatic. Your server should tell you when it is, but you also get a ticket in your stateroom with the date and time.

It's automatic
According to rotation / seating you get a "voucher" for a character breakfast one of the "on board" morning.

You automatically have space at one of the character breakfasts. No reservation needed!

Chip and Dale lead the way, Capt. Mickey comes out with Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, etc. My DS6 loved it.

We were on the 4 day cruise for Christmas and we did not have one. If there was one no one told us I am now wonder if we missed it or is only on the 7 day cruise.
