char. Meals brkf vs lunch vs dinner

Yesterday my son announced he would like to go to a charecter meal with winnie the pooh. I'm thinking about the Crystal palace but not sure for what meal. I was thinking lunch. We have the meal plan and are doing Donalds Breakfast in AK one morning and the Liberty tree Tavern for dinner the night of MVMCP. Any opinions? Also what the food like and is it geared towards boys?

We love CP - especially the breakfast it is a must-do for us every trip. If you can, get an early PS before the park opens -- it is pretty cool walking down Main Street before the masses arrive and there are some great photo ops. We have also eaten lunch there twice and have enjoyed it both times. Good luck with your decision

We loved Crystal Palace for lunch! It was delicious! It is so pretty inside! The food was the best we had at all of the character meals! The buffet had lots of variety! I would plan your character meals for earlier in your trip. We did this toward the end of our trip & our son didn't do very well (he was almost 3 year old).

I really like CP for lunch. We had an 11:30 PS, which I think is one of the first lunch times. This was great because all of the food had just been put out. The variety and flavor of the food was excellent, especially for a buffet.

As for geared towards boys, the characters are Pooh and Friends, so I think it's about as gender neutral as you can get!

My kids love the lunch buffet at CP. The food is some of the best you will get at the MK. I also thought the character interaction was good. Eeyore was even messing around with me, which the kids thought was the funniest thing to see their big dad get a hug from a character.
