CHAR-Broil Commercial grade BBQ Grill??

My old Brinkman grill gave out after 5 years. Now looking at a Char-BROIL Commercial GRADE, I need a large cooking area as we cook for many people at times. Has anyone bought a Char-Broil Commerical grill, any problems?? I looked at the weber just don't want to pay the price.. Any help... Thanks

I know the Weber is pricey, but it is better built, AND they have awesome customer service.... plus they are American made.

Sorry can't help you with the Char-Broil, all I have had for the last 15 years is Webber. In the mean time my brother-in-law has gone through two Brinkmans and some other type. He now has a Webber. You really can't beat them and if something does wear out there are plenty of places that sell spare parts like Home Depot.

I have the Char-Broil Commercial Grade, purchased it 3 years ago at Lowe's. I love it. Nice thick cooking grates, the auto start works great, everything's holding up super. I can get the temp up to around 800 to get a nice sear on steaks.

My only problem is one of the knobs broke, but that's my fault because I was trying to grill during an ice storm. The knob was frozen to the grill and snapped. I just pull one of the other knobs off and use for that one, too.

I expect to get many, many more years of good use out of it. For a gas grill, I highly recommend it.

My Weber is 11 years old non commercial grade and its in excellent shape. I would not buy anything but a Weber. For the money it is well worth it.
