I have some (probably stupid) questions about filling out the contract...

Is an hour and a half enough time to take pictures before the ceremony? So if our ceremony starts at 2:30pm, I should ask him to be there at 1pm? And the intimate ceremony/reception lasts about an hour and a half right? So we should be done by 4pm?

What do I put under "Formals (Day and Date)"?

Studio Services to include? We're doing the 3-hour $575 package. Can I just put that?

I don't fill out the payment section at the bottom, right?

Thank you!!

I didn't know what to put for those things either. I didn't fill out very much of the contract. But I just sent it in, I figured if they needed the information they would just call and ask. Lol. Sorry, that probably dosen't help much.

I'm not going to be much help either because I am subscribing to see your answers. :rotfl:

We were also considering doing the 3 hour package, but didn't even think about the 'getting ready' pictures. We just figured 1 - 1 1/2 hours for ceremony and picture point and then 1 1/2 - 2 for reception (just to get the important stuff even though the actual reception will be about 4 hours.)

We're doing a dessert party that night too, so I emailed and asked him if he had any special thing where you could pay to just add 1 hour. Are you having an intimate? If not, it seems like 3 hours won't be enough if you want 1 1/2 before the ceremony even starts.

Yeah, we're doing an intimate so I figure 3 hours should be just enough. I remember reading somewhere that an intimate ceremony and reception lasts 1.5 hours, so I figure if he gets there 1.5 hours before it should work out perfectly. We don't need any pictures of us getting ready, just the "posed" pictures around the Grand Floridian before the ceremony.

Steph11787: Actually that helps a lot -- I'm just going to leave stuff blank and tell him to contact me if he needs more info

3 hours sounds like it would be perfect then :) :) Have fun!!

Just chiming in here! We have booked the three-hour package with Randy for our Intimate, too. I also didn't fill in everything on the contract - only what made sense to us. But I also typed up a little timeline for him to see what I was thinking was feasible and I got an email back with his feedback on it.

He's going to be arriving at the hotel at 1pm for the "getting ready" shots, the ceremony is at 2pm, and we'll be taking our portraits after the ceremony.

Our ceremony is at Sunset Pointe and my WP says that it will take an hour. (I'm hoping for it to be a little longer!)

We also have videography booked from 2pm to 4pm.

The thought of all these cameras around is making me nervous!!
