Changing your name with DVC?

I just realized I never changed my name with DVC when I got married so my member card still has my maiden name on it. Will it be a problem when I buy my new AP with my married name?

Probably and you need to change your name on your deed(s) as well. Better call DVC Administration first thing tomorrow.

I'd call but I doubt it'll be a problem. I certainly wouldn't change the deed just for this. In the past DVC has changed the registration without changing the deed for such matters as long as it's the same person.

You can call Member Administration and they will help you with the name change. I did not bother to change my deeds when I remarried either.

If you are traveling immediately, you may be able to arrange to pickup a temporary DVC Membership card on site with your new name. Or you can bring your marriage certificate showing the change in name..no guarantees they will accept that for an AP purchase, however.
