changing your address on DVC

okay my phone is strange it is 15 years old and I MUST put in your phone number for you to call me.

so the DVC internet program is telling me it can't call me and it is refusing to change my address.

anyway to by pass it - tried calling but there is no way (at present) to change your address using the phone system.

oh it is refusing to allow me to make reservation until I change my address which I can't

Yikes. Sounds like a mess. Did you talk to someone at MS about this?

I'm with n2mm, spiceycat. I would most certainly give MS a call. I will say this, not just anyone can change an address for a member, DVC is pretty protective about it. Once you call them, they should be able to both correct your address and help with your rez.

As an aside, DVC still uses a couple of databases and they don't always "talk" to each other perfectly. I had a buddy at DVC tell me that it still showed me living out of state, even though MS had my correct address/phone, etc., and I was getting all my mail from DVC.

I called MS to change my address when we moved last summer- it only took a few minutes.

I changed my address online and have changed my phone number online without any issues.

Perhaps if you add the MS phone number to your address book on your phone then your phone will accept the call. I would definitely call MS for the change of address. I hope they get fixed ASAP so you can get the room of your choice for your reservation. Good luck.

I have changed my address through the website as well, twice in the last two years.

I'm a little confused on the prices you're trying But have also changed our address online without any problem. I don't understand why they would need to call you? If you can't do it online then call MS and they can change it.....seems like they ask every call anyway if it's up to date.

been gone to my new home no internet yet.

found part of the problem - the program tells you to change all the profiles with just changing one (on disney world, games, etc)- well that profile did NOT change the DVC site - so I did both today - so here hoping that worked.
