Does anyone know if this is possible? We have an October use year and as we like to take our holiday in September, it means if for some reason we have to cancel, then we,d run out of time and wouldn't be able to use the points. Has anyone actually changed use year?

Thanks...

I very much doubt if this is possible since the use year is part of the contract (I think!). I know what you mean though - I have an April use year and like to go in March, and it did give us a problem this year when we had to cut our holiday short - and we did lose some points.

I think I've read/heard that it's not possible without selling your existing contract and buying a new one with the 'right' UY (if its available) because DVC need to maintain the formula at each resort with x number of points allocated to each UY.

Could you give MS a call / e-mail just to check? The worst they can say is "no"! ;)

Have done just that, Hilary. Waiting to hear back from them. I know it's unlikely but if you don't ask.....
