we have booked a long trip for christmas and new years staying at SSR. Me, DH and DD's 10 & 9. i havent booked the dining plan as i was worried about the cost but now realise that it may work out better value. The trouble is that i have already made all my ADR's and booked hoop de doo and cinderellas (pre paid) does anyone know if i would get my money back if i switched us to DDP? also would our ADR's be honoured? :cheer2: :cheer2:

ADR's would be honored but I have no idea about the two you already paid for.

Call WDW dine until you get a very patient CM. My inclination is that they can in fact credit you back, but you will need to be patient as they will have to go thru quite a few screens. I would call and ask first, then add the plan, then go thru dining to get the credit changed.

First of all, I assume your SSR stay is on DVC points...right? By points, I mean either your own, or rented from a DVC member. If not, you'll have to get a package; it's not a simple matter of adding the DDP

Kaybird's point is well-taken and could apply to both CRT and HDD. They are both 2 TSs.

Also, with DDP, you can only get Category 2 seats for HDD. If you got better than that paying cash, you may want to stick with what you have and use the extra TS credits for a nice signature dinner or for an extra character meal or two.

That is correct if it is a DVC POINTS ressie. If you book a DVC resort through CRO, you would need to do a package.

Last year I booked the CP before I thought I'd be buying the dining plan. When I picked up my tickets the CM processed a credit card refund.

It might be easier to just handle it when you get to WDW. Both CRT and HDD are not a good use of 2 TS credits. I suspect you may wind up paying OOP for at least one of the two meals.
