My family and I are going to WDW in October. We are looking at getting 4 days at disney with the hopping option. If we decide that we need another day or two (after we have already used a couple of the days), does anyone know if we can upgrade the tickets without purchasing the "2 day option". But rather upgrading to the 6 day option? I hope that makes sense!!

I may be wrong, but I don't think you can add days at the discounted rate you would have gotten if you had purchased more days in the first place. I do know that you can add the park hopping option if you didn't buy it in the first place - and the same with the no expiration date. However, the price for these options applies to the total number of days of your original purchase, even if you have fewer days left to use the add-on options.

Within 14 days of the first time you use your ticket, you can "add" any options you want: more days, park hopping, magic plus pack, premium, or non-expiration.

Basically, what you're doing is an upgrade. They cancel your old admission, and give you new admission.

So let's say you've used 2 days of your 4 day pass. You go to Guest Relations. They will credit you the gate price of the 4 day admission, and give you a new 6 day ticket. Two of those six days will be used, so you'll have 4 days left. You'll then pay the difference between the 6 day park hopping ticket, and the 4 day park hopping ticket (Be aware: ticket options must match - so if you've got park hopping, the 6 day ticket will have to include park hopping)

Does that make sense?
