I made a reservation at BOG for 1 person. There was availability for 1 person but not 2. So I just booked the table for 1. I went in to change the booking from 1 to 2 and there isn't availability.

Now there are two of us. Surely they will not put the one person on a table for 1? Or are there tables for 1? I would have thought table for 2 was the smallest size table (where 1 can sit if on their own).

Are there tables for 1 at BOG or are they a minimum of table for 2?

Not sure wether to cancel it all together or to keep the table for 1 and keep trying to change it to 2 people or just turn up with two people and hope they will seat the 1 extra person?

Thanks

BOG at breakfast and lunch are by head count, not table availability. Keep the reservation for 1 and try to get another reservation for 1 with a time close to the first one.

Edited to add - on our last trip (which we planned less than 2 months out) we always managed to get reservations PPO, but some days we had three separate reservations for 1, some days we had a 2 and a 1 , and only once did we get a reservation for 3.

I made another single one 10 minutes before in my son's name. So we will both go together with resizes 10 mins apart. Thanks for the tip @melanielll

Just make sure they check both of you in. When you get there should be no issues but don't want to get charged if they just adjust 1 res to party of 2 and forget to fix other res. Its only 10 but hey thats 10.
