changing seasons mid-trip - how do they figure points?

We're thinking about planning a trip with our points for December 2006. Kids get out of school on Wednesday, Dec. 20th. That's still Choice season. Then on Sunday, Dec. 24th, it goes up to Premier season.

Help me figure this out if we're staying in a studio at OKW, for example:

Wed. 12/20 - 8 pts
Thurs. 12/21 - 8 pts
Fri. 12/22 - 21 pts
Sat. 12/23 - 21 pts
Sun 12/24 - 15 pts
Mon 12/24 - 15 pts
Tues 12/25 - 15 pts
(leave Wednesday 12/26).

That's a total of 103 points if we do a "per night" figure. But if we're going to stay a week, would the weekly point charge be based on the Season that the week starts in (Choice? - for 88 points for a week)... is that how it works?

Thanks,

The weekly rate is the sum of the points needed for the individual nights.

With cash reservations made directly thru Disney, the arrival date will determine the rate if the stay includes two "seasons". DVC point reservations are based on the individual nights of the stay.

Enjoy!
