Changing rooms during trip...

We will be staying at SSR (with DVC points) for 5 days, then moving to ASMo for 2 nights.

Is there some type of tranportation to take us to ASMo with our luggage after we check out of SSR?

How is this handled??

Hi! There certainly is, and it is a great feature at WDW. You can call bell services the night before and they will arrange for someone to pick up your bags in the morning and, during the day, they will be transported over to ASMo.

You can then use Disney transportation to get to ASMo.

Contact bell services at SSR to transfer your luggage for you. They will come to your room to pick up your luggage [you must be present or they will not take them]. After you check in at ASMo stop at bell services and find out if they will bring your luggage to your new room or if you will have to pick them up yourself. If you have to get them yourself be sure to ask for a luggage cart.

As for getting yourselves from SSR to ASMo just take Disney transportation to one of the parks and transfer to a ASMo bus from the park or ask the front desk at SSR to call a taxi for you.
