Changing room at check in after doing OLCI

We weren't going to do OLCI b/c we wanted to see what upgrades where available ( willing to pay but still saving from now until that day) at check in, but now I realized we can't use FP+ ( if its available in Sept) if we don't..

Is it rude or hard to change rooms at check in? I'd hate to make someone work for nothing..

What experience have you had changing rooms after OLCI? What would you do if you knew there was a good chance you'd ask for a change at check in?

You are assigned a room about 2 days prior to your arrival whether you do online check in or not. So if would like to upgrade, or change your room location when you arrive the CM will need to look for availability and assign you a different room either way. If you've done OLCI the only added step the CM has to do is cut you new KTTWs. We have done this in the past and it took an extra 5 minutes if that.

Thanks Dansdad... I feel a bit better, I didn't want to put a CM thru alot if extra work for nothing and I didn't want to be rude.. Still not sure about OLCI, I mean I normally do it but this trip is a bit different..
