Changing Ressie to include Free Dining ?!?

I think I've decided to do it! I currently have a room-only ressie at POP that I booked through DU for $544. I was going to buy my park hoppers from Maple Leaf at $924. Total - $1468. I've been a little uncomfortable all along using DU - not because of anything they have done, but just because I love to plan and like to be able to deal with a live voice over the phone instead of emails. So, I called CRO this morning to get a quote for 8 nights at POP and 8-day park hoppers with the free dining - $1744.30. $276.30 difference. Worth it?

I don't know how many people are in your family but if you have just 2 guests the "free" meal plan is only costing $17.50 /person/day. It's next to impossible to eat for less than that.

Check your quotes. Disney quoted my package with travel insurance (which you do not have to get). I was pleasantly surprised when my price came down after I elected not to get it. Others may or may not quote that way. My room only ressie was quoted without it. If your first quote is without insurance, and the Disney quote is with insurance, that may account for some of the difference.

Cannot Wait 4 Disney - You're right about the insurance. The quote they gave me includes it. I may call back and ask for a quote without it. We've never done travel insurance before and this will be our 4th trip to Disney. Does anyone else do insurance?
