Changing resorts last minute?

If I call the day before I go and the a different resort is available for a better price do I have to cancel my current reservation and make an entirely new one?

Will this screw up my dining plan and everything else?

just tell them what you want to do.

forgot the big one - this is just changing from one WDW resort to another WDW resort.

not a DD or D/S or offsite.
