I'm going to be calling MS this morning but thought I would put this question out to you guys also.

My DH and I already have reservations in place for end of January. A week at BLT, with air, car, some APRs, etc already lined up. My middle son who plays baseball for his college team just came to us last night and told us that his first set of games this upcoming spring is going to be in Orlando a few weeks after our trip, he forgot about our trip in January. He's like mom how would you like to go to DisneyWorld this February. He knows that my head turns when Disney is mention and thought that's all he would have to say, before I would start planning. I told him it's just not that easy since we already have our trip planned. My DH also said something to me last night about how hard would it be to change our reservations. My DH isn't a Disney nut so this would be something that he would really enjoy while we are in Orlando. We haven't seen him play for over a year now, he was injuried last year and was on the disable list, we're really looking forward to his 2011 season.

Ok, the weekend that he'll be in Orlando with his college team is President's Weekend, one of the busiest weekends at Disney. Do you think I'll be able to change my reservations at BLT and get something I want. If I can't get into BLT for this weekend then I wouldn't mind staying at VWL, BCV or the BWV. Plus, which week would be better the week (Tues - Tues) before or the week (Thurs - Thurs) after President's Day for less crowds? Then there's our air, I booked us on SW incase the fare went down, never thought I would have to change for a baseball game.

What do you think should I change everything for his games in Orlando or keep it the way it is, boy the things we do for our kids.

Boy, that's a tough one. I guess I'd call MS and see what's available. If you can find a reservation from DVC, that would be the place to start. Then if you get that accomplished, you can work on changing airline tickets. I'm guessing you will have a charge for changing the flights, but that would be a cheap price to pay. Now....On the other hand.... I'd be inclined to do BOTH trips.;) We had our first week of December trip all booked and planned when friends (who also own DVC) decided they wanted to travel with us the last week of January. Instead of cancelling the December trip, we kept it and booked a GV for the end of January with our friends! Works for me!;):woohoo:
