I currently have a room/ticket package booked from 8/29-9/2 with a 5-day Park Hopper at the YC.
Due to a schedule change, I now need to adjust my vacation to 8/27-9/1.
My original reservation is booked with a special package discount (Sun & Fun, I think) and I cannot add days to my current reservation without drastically affecting the package price. I called and they said that I'd basically have to cancel the current reservation and re-book at standard rates. So here is what I am thinking may be my best option:
Book a Split Stay by:
* Adding a room-only reservation for 8/27-8/29 at another Disney resort (still undecided).
* Adjusting my current reservation at YC from 8/29-9/2 to 8/29-9/1.
* Cancelling my 5-day park hopper tickets on my existing package, making it a room only reservation too.
* Buying 6-day park hopper tickets through Undercover Tourist which would cover me from 8/27-9/1.
Would doing this allow me to book FP starting on 8/27 & also save me some money on my park tickets?
Am I missing something? Is there a better way to do this?
Thanks for your help.
Chris.
