Changing reservation, new confirmation number? What happens with ADR's?

Hi, we're currently booked for April 21-28 using a room % off PIN. Let's assume SPD is offered, it's a better deal, and I change my reservation - does confirmation number change? In that case, what happens with ADR's? Would I need to cancel those booked with current confirmation number and hope to rebook with new? TIA for your help!

Adrs are not tied to a resort ressi. You don't even have to be staying at Disney to make them. So no, changing your ressi won't affect any thing.

Oh, silly me. I seem to recall needing my confirmation number to make ADR's for my last trip in 2011. Perhaps that was for the 180+10? I will do some research before I just jump on here to ask! Thank you for your quick reply.

As the pp said, your ADRs will remain as they are not tied to a resort reservation unless you are booking at 180+10. As far as getting a new confirmation number, if you already have a package booked and just change discounts, your confirmation will stay the same. The only time your confirmation number would change is if you change reservation types. If you currently have RO booked and change to a package, the RO will have to be cancelled/refunded and a package booked, requiring a new $200 deposit, which would also generate a new confirmation number. Since RO and packages are different reservation systems, money paid toward one cannot be applied to the other.

You are correct, your resort reservation is only tied to your ADRs when making ADRs at 180+10 .

The S/P/D offer has never been offered in April, only select dates in January - March. The historical discount for late April is a room only discount. I can't recall that there has been any kind of package discount for April in many, many years - just room only discounts.
