changing rented reservation

I rented points for this weekend, we are staying 4 nights at OKW in a one bedroom, would I have to go back to the person I rented from to see if I could change to VWL for 3 nights and pay cash for the fourth, or wound reservations allow me to speak to them??

Member Services will not allow you to make any changes to the points reservation. The DVC Member would have to do it for you.

FWIW, there may not be any availability at VWL for this weekend. Just because CRO has rooms available (for cash rental), it doesn't mean that there are rooms available to be rented with points.

Any changes would have to be handled by the member you rented from except for issues like requests- which could be made thru the resort directly.

Changing to a different resort may prove difficult at this late date, but perhaps you can get the member to inquire.

thanks everyone, after I posted I figured I would just call and see what they could do, they confirmed my non-smoking, top floor, late arrival requests, checked for availability at VWL- (which there is nothing available, only the first night) and said if availability was there, to contact the person who I rented from and they could change the resort. I am glad they checked for me, now I don't have to bother the person I rented from. The DVC rep was very nice and helpful.
