Hello! I have a cruise booked for June 2017 for five people and two of the people in our party may not be able to go. I have someone else that may be able to go in their place, but would DCL allow that?

If one of the persons you are changing out is the "lead" (in other words the first person listed on the reservation), then in that case the whole reservation will have to be cancelled and rebooked at current rate.

I'm not sure that's true any longer. I agree with jrabbit, you can change any of the names, regardless if they are listed first on the reservation or not. You just can't change all of the names.

For the last few years there has been a name change fee. We were past final payment for our August Fantasy cruise earlier this month when my future son in law could not go on the cruise. We did a name change and my friend took his place. $50 for the name change. Was much cheaper doing it that way than having my friend book as a new guest...it would have $2,000.00 more than what we originally paid for future son-in-law.
