Changing payment method of 1 night stay

Does anyone have experience getting Disney to change the original payment method of a 1 night stay? Example we booked a 1 night stay on a credit card and had to pay in full, we would now like to pay that via a gift card as we have an excess amount of money on the gift card.

Thoughts? Experiences?

I'm sure they can work that out, but you definitely need to speak to a CM. It's not something you'll be able to do online. Give them a call, they should be able to make the change.

You can call, but I'm not sure they can change the payment since it was already put through. They might be able to cancel and re-book using the gift cards.

Update: We ended up cancelling it and rebooking it. A time consuming process, but pretty painless.
