Changing park pass reservation?

If there is park availability, how late can a reservation be made? Day of?

also, if you made park reservations but did not go, I assume this would not “use” a ticket day, correct? (I am NOT going to do that- just tying to understand the system)

Please watch the Park Availability Calendar.

You do NOT want to wait any longer than necessary to book park reservations. As of today (April 26th) there is reduced or no park availability all the way through to July 8th.

If you make a reservation that you don't need, please cancel it as someone else will be looking for it.

Thank you. Yes of course I would absolutely cancel anything I wouldn't use ASAP so someone else could get it. Just wondering how the system works with how it is linked to tickets.

I am also just wondering what the system will look like later this fall, after capacity increases.....my DH HATES the park pass reservation idea - he is more of a spontaneous guy (as much as you can do that at Disney anyway LOL), and he is hoping by then we can wake up and go to the park that we want......

As much as I feel the same way, I cant imagine traveling all that way and cant get it... it's nice that you for sure have a place.
We wanted to to to universal but I watch weekend after weekend hit capacity in just a few mins.

I agree. We will get park hoppers so he can live out his spontaneous needs after 2 pm LOL
