This is a prepaid meal. My son and husband have opted to go elsewhere and have the younger crowd go alone. Do I just adjust the number of guests and get a refund, do I need to call, or will this change cause us to loose our reservation? Changing from 5 to 3

Have you prepaid for this meal? If so, I think they forfeit the money. If you are on the DDP, you should be Okay, although I would call and to to change the number of guests. Last August 1/2 of our group got stranded in DS after getting drenched in a thunderstorm. They were not on board with using back to the resot to shower and change, and then beat feet through the MK to get to CRT. I never told the CM the reason some could not make it, just that we were fewer than I reserved for. No issues.

You have to cancel 24hrs in advance to be eligible for a refund. If you are on the DDP, I always thought if you didnt show you would be charged the cash price for the ones who didnt show. I agree, call and see if you can change your reservation.

1. As long as someone turns up to the reservation you won't be charged a no show fee for the people that don't turn up.
2. I would be hesitant to call as there have been instances of people losing reservations because the CM's have cancelled the original reservation instead of changing the numbers.
3. Can you make another reservation yourself online? Once you have that confirmation, cancellation the original reservation.
4. I would wait until you get to WDW and speak to your concierge at your hotel to change the number of people reservation.

You can get refunds for CRT if you cancel. I make reservations there (pre-paid) and cancel frequently if I find a better time or day. You cannot change them online though, because they are prepaid. I think if you call they should be able to adjust it and refund you the difference. Since you are going down to a smaller party I don't see how it would be a problem.

Do you know what the time frame is to change at this place. I think it is our second day so I am guessing I would need to call before we arrive.


Thanks to everyone for the advice. Of all the dinners we have attended, this will be the first prepaid one I want to change. Good considering how many meals we have eaten over the years.

Personally, I think your husband and son should have just bitten the bullet and endured the Princess meal or else have made up their minds before you made the ADR and caused you all this angst.
