Changing number in party for ADR's

Ok, so since 3 months ago one of my best friends and I had our Disney trip booked and all our ADR's made, tickets bought to MNSSHP and everything. Then suddenly she declares that because of financial problems and other stuff, she can not go! Ok... no problem... so I invite another very good friend to go. He is super excited because it will be his first trip to WDW and it will also fall on his birthday! He also says that he will eat anywhere that we made reservations because he is not picky and is just glad to be going. So everything is all set right... wrong! Suddenly the first friend decides that she can go! Since friend 2 is so excited there is no way I would not want him to go now, but all of our ADR's are for 2 and now suddenly we have a party of 3!!!

What to do?? I am so upset! We had made all our ADR's way in advance and got all our times and places we wanted! (8:05 am Crystal Palace, dinner at Le Cellier) Now it is less than 90 days till our departure date, I'm sure most of the places we wanted to eat are booked up and I don't know what to do? I am sure we can't just change the number on the ADR from 2 to 3! What can I do???

I would call and see what is available before mentioning that you have an adr and see what is available. Disney can not switch your adr to 3, they will cancle and make a new one. If nothing is available I say show up and act like Disney made the error if they say anything lol! Thr problem is really table size because you are switching from a 2 top to 4 top.

Do you think at at least some they could maybe cancel our 2 and re-book it as a 3 in it's place... I know last year at 'Ohana we were a party of 2 but they sat us at a table for 4.

Update! I got Crystal Palace 8:05 for a party of 3! yay!

Also, am I a bad person for making new ADR's for 3 and not immediately cancelling our ADR's for 2... I just want to keep them until everybody is absolutely certain they are going before I cancel them... but I will cancel them...
