Changing names on reservations.

I've had a relationship change and now I want to take a friend with me to Orlando. I know I can't transfer plane tickets but what about other stuff. Can I change names on reservations for the hotel, ADR's, park tickets, magic bands, and wishes dessert party? I'm not going until September so I have time. I just don't want to lose out on money and have to travel solo.

As long as there is at least one adult (18 or over) in the room, don't see why not. Are you the main name on the reservation? If so, just change the info for the second person. Tickets can be transferred so long as they are unused. Don't bother with the ADRs. Just show up.

You can't change the main name (the name the reservation is in), but you can change everybody else. I would call and have it done over the phone though - wouldn't try to do it in MDE - might screw up the whole world!

You can save a phone call and just "edit" and change names in your MDE account. It's very easy to do and doesn't alter anything. Leave ADRs as they are as they only check the name of the person who made the reservation.

Thankfully, I'm the main person on the account. I booked everything and everything is in my name.

You'll check-in online and will never stop by the front desk of the hotel. You don't have to change the name on the hotel reservation, but if it bothers you, you'll need to call.

If she wants magic bands linked to tickets for the right person, she'll need to change the names on the reservation.

If the other ticket is assigned to someone who has their own account, she won't be able to reassign it.

If she changes the names after the MagicBands are customized and sent, she won't have to call. She can just edit names prior to arrival. As of now, she hasn't added a traveler so she may as well wait.
